[Product Specification] [FAQ] Q. Is the curtain included? A. No. Our product does not include the sheer curtain in the photos. Q. What type of LED bulb should I choose? A. Icicle type LED. Icicle led string lights are bigger, more expensive to manufacture, much brighter, and have the beautiful halo/glare effect. Q. Does your product work with batteries? A. No. Curtain Lights using Icicle LED bulbs (usually 200-300 bulbs) run only about 12 - 20 hours with 3 AA batteries, and you will be replacing batteries every other day or so. Q. Does it come with a remote? A. Yes, our curtain lights product comes with a 'remote control + receiver module' designed for full-size icicle LED lights. Most of the curtain lights with remote in the market use a 'remote + signal receiver' designed for tiny LEDs on copper wire that consumes very little power. You will find them really really dim. Q. I plan to purchase multiple units. Can I use one remote to control multiple units? A. Yes. One remote will control all Premium version LED curtain lights from Something Unicorn. The remote that comes with our Premium version won't control our Standard version curtain lights. Q. Does your product support brightness control and timer? A. Yes, you can select one of 6 brightness using either the in-line switch or remote control. Q. Does your curtain lights support the timer function? A. Yes, you can select 30m, 1HR, 2HR, 3HR, or 4HR timer using the included remote control. [Remote Programing] (This section applies only if you bought multiple curtain lights from us.) By default, one Remote controls all curtain lights in your house. If you prefer controlling each curtain lights using a dedicated Remote, you can turn on ‘Dedicated Remote’ mode following these steps: 1) Turn on your Curtain-Lights-A 2) Press + and - button on the in-line switch at the same time (Lights will turn off). 3) Press the red ON button on Remote-A. Lights will turn on. Now Curtain-Lights-A responds only to Remote-A) Note: If you want Curtain-Lights-A to respond to any remote, repeat steps 1&2 and then press OFF button on the remote. Curtain-Lights-A will now respond to any remote from Something Unicorn We benchmarked other rainbow curtain lights products in the market. The one with a remote was really really dim. Please note that they used manipulated images and photos from competing product's reviews as their product is too dim. During our benchmarking, we found the 'battery' box model was as bright as ours. However, they don't have 'dimmer' function. As such, their product is good for day use but too bright to use it as a nightlight. To make it worse, it is really painful to turn it on/off because the switch on the battery box is super tiny. Also, batteries only last for about 2 days. Our product comes in a gift-ready & sturdy 'tuck-in' box, while other's product comes in a cheap brown mailer box or generic Christmas tree lights box.
